Can an RX Solutions CT system be shared between several laboratories?
Yes, this is common practice in academia: the machine can be shared between several research teams, or even with industrial partners.
Does the system require a particular post-processing software?
No. RX Solutions does not lock access to your data: export is possible to
VGSTUDIO MAX, Avizo,
Dragonfly, and you can script your own workflows in X-Act.
What support do you offer for an ANR or CPER application, or a European project?
Our teams provide the technical case and the performance data your application needs, and can draw on scientific references already published with our systems.
What is the difference between the Nano line and the UltraTom for research?
The Nano line targets nanometric resolution for the characterisation of microstructures. The UltraTom is the platform in the Nano line that allows you to go further, in a custom configuration, for in-situ imaging or complex experimental setups.
What is the difference between voxel size and actual resolution?
Voxel size is a digital reconstruction parameter: on its own, it does not guarantee the system’s ability to distinguish small details.
What resolution is needed to publish in a peer-reviewed journal?
It depends on the field and on the type of structure studied, but publications in materials science or biology may require submicron resolution, or even nanometric resolution for certain fine microstructures.
