How do you choose an industrial CT system?
The choice depends mainly on the level of detail required, the density and thickness of the materials, the size and weight of the part, the level of automation expected and the type of analysis to be carried out. Tests on real parts then make it possible to confirm
the configuration. What is the difference between Explorer, Nano and Force?
Explorer covers a wide range of micro-CT applications in R&D and quality control for many industries. Nano meets submicron resolution needs. Force is designed for dense, thick or highly absorbing parts that require more penetration.
What is the difference between a line and a Series?
The line mainly determines imaging capability: micro-CT, submicron resolution or high energy. A Series adapts the system to a particular operational context, such as dimensional metrology with the
Metrology Series or automated production inspection with the
FAB Series. Can I carry out metrology with an RX Solutions CT system?
Yes.
The Metrology Series is designed for 3D dimensional metrology of internal and external features, with performance verified to VDI/VDE 2630 and equipment dedicated to stability, traceability and repeatability.
Can CT be used directly in production?
Yes.
The FAB Series adapts the system to the workshop environment thanks to reinforced equipment, automated workflows, a simplified operator interface, inspection traceability and OPC UA integration options. This is currently an approach as close as possible to the production line.
Can a CT system be upgraded after installation?
Depending on the platform and its initial configuration, various items can be added or upgraded: detectors, generators, software, metrology functions, automation or experimental accessories. Our

A custom-made CT system becomes relevant when a constraint cannot be covered by standard configurations: oversized part, heavy load, special environment, multimodal imaging, advanced automation or specific software integration.
