RX Solutions : Your partner in X-ray Computed Tomography (CT)

Created in 2006, RX Solutions has developed a broad range of high performance of X-ray radioscopy and microtomography systems and offers also fast CT scanning and inspection services.

Easy to use, X-ray CT allows with a single scan to accurately visualize and inspect the inner structure of material samples, workpieces and assemblies in a non-destructive manner. This allows to detect defects such as cracks, delaminations, porosities…or to perform a metrological inspection of the inner and external structure of the scanned workpiece.

FAQ

Micro-focus, meso-focus, nano-focus : quelle différence entre les tubes ?

Micro-focus : résolutions jusqu’à quelques microns (≈2 µm) avec plus de puissance (jusqu’à 300 kV).
Nano-focus : descend au submicron (≈0,4 µm selon configuration), idéal pour les très fins détails, avec un champ de vision plus restreint.
Meso-focus : beaucoup plus d’énergie pour les pièces denses et complexes, avec une résolution plus faible (≈40 µm).

What's the purpose of a dual-tube configuration?

To instantly adapt the system to your application: a micro-focus generator for penetration on denser parts, and a nano-focus generator for very high resolution, often on very small parts. EasyTom L and EasyTom XL can accommodate two generators (nano + micro-focus), and the UltraTom up to three simultaneously.

Can I use an RX Solutions CT scanner for metrology (dimensional control)?

Yes. RX Solutions “Metrology” versions are VDI/VDE-certified and let you measure internal and external geometries in 3D, compare them with the CAD nominal (deviation maps, GD&T tolerances) and generate reports for traceability.

Which software solution is right for your CT system?

X-Act covers acquisition, reconstruction and visualization. In-house software bricks such as Horus and X-Fab enable advanced features. For post-processing, partner software such as VG Studio, Dragonfly and Avizo is available.

Do you offer training, support and maintenance?

Yes. For every system we install, we provide initial and advanced training to help you get the most out of your tomograph. We also offer maintenance and preventive contracts to optimize usage.

How long does an X-ray scan take?

It depends on size, density, thickness and target resolution—but also on tube and imager settings and the number of projections required. A scan can take from a few minutes to several hours. The goal is usually to find the best balance between speed and accuracy.
